Action Required

Action needed
By November 21, 2002: Billing team must update pharmacy billing system to deny all claims for drugs manufactured by For Ever Young Products, Inc. (labeler code 67197) for New Jersey Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare fee-for-service patients. Verify that newly added manufacturer labeler codes (55111, 66576, 66977, 67000, 67253, 67445) are active in the system for reimbursement. Communicate with pharmacy and clinical staff that products from For Ever Young Products will no longer be covered, requiring alternative drug selection. Note: Coverage differs across PAAD Drug Rebate and Senior Gold Prescription Discount programs—those programs are not affected by this change.
