By June 1, 2003: Billing team must update all billing software and claim submission processes to capture and report day-specific dates of service instead of monthly service spans for Adult Day Health Services claims. Providers must modify encounter documentation and claim forms to record individual service dates for each Medicaid beneficiary. Contact Unisys (ADHS fiscal agent) for system updates and technical guidance. All claims submitted on or after June 1, 2003 must include specific service dates or will be subject to denial or recalculation.
