Summary
New Jersey Medicaid will no longer accept local procedure code Y6337 effective July 1, 2009, with no replacement code available. Hospice providers must stop using this code entirely for all Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare claims.
Action Required
By July 1, 2009: Billing team must remove local procedure code Y6337 from billing systems and encounter forms for New Jersey Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare claims. No replacement code exists - discontinue use entirely. Claims submitted with this code after the effective date will be rejected.
