Summary
New Jersey Medicaid is deleting three local procedure codes (W9070, Z0310, Z4333) effective July 1, 2009, with no replacement codes available. These codes will no longer be accepted for Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare fee-for-service claims.
Action Required
By July 1, 2009: Billing team must remove local procedure codes W9070, Z0310, and Z4333 from billing system and encounter forms for New Jersey Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare claims. Update billing software to reject these codes. Claims submitted with these codes will be denied.
