By September 14, 2025: Billing team and providers must transition all prior authorization request submissions to the CareSource Provider Portal. Update internal workflows and staff training to ensure all service requests for Ohio D-SNP, Marketplace, Medicaid, and MyCare plans are submitted electronically through the portal rather than via phone or fax. If the practice cannot meet this requirement due to financial hardship or lack of internet access, contact CareSource Provider Services immediately at the plan-specific numbers provided (D-SNP: 1-833-230-2176; Marketplace: 1-833-230-2101; Medicaid: 1-800-488-0134; MyCare: 1-800-488-0134) to request an exception. Failure to submit via the portal may delay prior authorization decisions and impact claim processing timelines.
