Summary

Providers must continue using the old 2012 codes until the system is updated and will be notified via the state website when new codes are ready.
Action Required
Immediately: Continue billing using 2012 CPT codes for behavioral health services (90801, 90804-90807, 90857, 90862) until further notice. Monitor https://www.njmmis.com for updates on when 2013 codes (90791-90836) become available in the system. When new codes are activated, submit adjustment claims with updated procedure codes for any reimbursement changes. Do not attempt to use 2013 codes until officially announced on the state website.
