Action Required
By May 11, 2023: Billing team must stop billing codes G2023, U0003, U0004, and U0005 to New Jersey Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare. Update billing system to flag these codes as non-covered for NJ Medicaid claims. Remove these codes from encounter forms for COVID-19 testing services. Claims submitted with these codes after May 11, 2023 will be denied.
