Summary
CareSource updated Ohio Medicaid's Provider Network Management (PNM) module to resolve issues with provider directory opt-in/opt-out indicators. Providers must verify and update all directory information (addresses, affiliations, specialties, locations) in the PNM system to ensure accuracy for member access and claims processing.
Action Required
Before March 11, 2024 (or immediately if past date): All providers, groups, and practitioners must log into the Ohio Medicaid PNM module and verify all profile information is accurate and current. Update organization names, addresses, affiliations, specialties, and locations as needed. Review and confirm opt-in/opt-out directory indicator status using the Provider Directory Opt-In or Opt-Out Quick Reference Guide. Billing team should ensure all provider data in the practice's billing system matches what is entered in the PNM module. Contact Ohio Medicaid Integrated Helpdesk at 800-686-1516 (option 2, 2) or IHD@medicaid.ohio.gov for technical support (M-F, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET), or CareSource Provider Services at 1-800-488-0134 (M-F, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET) for questions. Inaccurate directory data may result in members inability to locate the practice and potential claim processing issues.
