Summary
NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid will continue to cover COVID-19 vaccines for all eligible members per NJ Department of Health guidelines, without requiring a prescription or evidence of underlying conditions. Coverage is available through both fee-for-service and managed care delivery systems, and includes vaccines administered by pharmacists, pharmacy interns, externs, and technicians to individuals age 3 and older.
