Summary
New Jersey Medicaid now requires ABA providers (BCBAs, BCBA-Ds, and BCaBAs) to obtain state licensure from the Division of Consumer Affairs in addition to their existing certifications. Already enrolled providers can continue services but must submit their new license documentation to Gainwell Technologies.
Action Required
Already enrolled ABA providers (BCBAs, BCBA-Ds, BCaBAs) should obtain required state licensure and submit a copy of their LBA or LaBA license to Gainwell Technologies via mail (P.O. Box 4804, Trenton, NJ 08650), fax (609-584-1192), or email (njmmisproviderenrollment@gainwelltechnologies.com). New ABA providers enrolling after July 1, 2025 must have proper state licensure before enrollment.
