Action Required
By October 1, 2014: Billing team must transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10 coding system for all diagnosis codes. Update billing software to use ICD-10 codes for dates of service October 1, 2014 and after. Continue using ICD-9 codes only for services provided before October 1, 2014. Note: CPT coding for outpatient procedures remains unchanged.
