Summary
Providers can now request behavioral health precertifications up to 30 days before service start date through CyberAccess with immediate electronic responses. Fax requests must use the specific Behavioral Health Services Request for Precertification form.

Immediately: Behavioral health providers should begin using CyberAccess portal for precertification requests to receive instant responses. Staff must use the official Behavioral Health Services Request for Precertification form for any fax submissions. Review provider bulletin dated October 31, 2014, Volume 37, Number 06 for detailed CyberAccess procedures.
