Action Required
Before October 1, 2015: All billing staff must complete ICD-10 training using CMS resources at cms.gov/icd10. Update billing software to use ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and ICD-10-PCS procedure codes. Download 2016 valid code lists from CMS website. Test claims processing with new codes. All claims submitted with dates of service on or after October 1, 2015 using ICD-9 codes will be rejected.
