Summary
The MO HealthNet Division Medicare Unit is transitioning to paperless communication and will now send provider correspondence via encrypted email or fax only. Providers must update their email addresses and fax numbers on file to continue receiving Medicare letters and billing statements.
Action Required
Immediately: Contact MHD Medicare Unit at (573) 751-9312 or fax (573) 526-1162 to update email and fax contact information. Provide NPI number, contact person name, current email address, and fax number. Set up email encryption capability to open encrypted emails from MHD. Failure to update contact information may result in missed important billing communications and statements.
