Summary
MO HealthNet Division requires that laboratory panel claims must include ALL procedure codes and units specified in the panel to be submitted electronically. If incomplete testing is performed, claims must be submitted via paper to a specific mailing address.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must verify all laboratory panel claims include complete procedure codes and units before electronic submission. For incomplete panels (fewer units than required), submit paper claims to Department of Social Services, Attn: Lab/Transplant Unit, PO Box 6500, Jefferson City MO 65102. Update billing software to flag incomplete panel submissions for paper processing.
