Summary
Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) has added two additional albuterol inhalers as preferred products in response to COVID-19, expanding the preferred beta adrenergic short-acting inhaler list to include ProAir HFA, Proventil HFA, Ventolin HFA, and Xopenex HFA. System updates to process these without helpdesk calls were completed by end of day March 20, 2020.

By March 20, 2020: Billing team should verify that claims for the four preferred albuterol inhalers (ProAir HFA, Proventil HFA, Ventolin HFA, and Xopenex HFA) process automatically for Missouri Medicaid patients without requiring helpdesk calls.
