Action Required

Action needed
Immediately: Billing team must update system to allow telehealth claims using GT modifier for Missouri Medicaid patients. Remove copayment collection for telehealth services. Update encounter forms to capture telephone-only visits. Train staff that no facility fee can be billed when patient is at home, but hospitals can bill facility fees for distant site services on separate UB04 lines with zero charges.
