Summary
MO HealthNet (Missouri Medicaid) is waiving ALL co-payments for services provided from January 1, 2020 through the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency. Providers who collected co-payments during this period must refund them to participants.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must stop collecting co-payments from MO HealthNet participants for all services. Front desk staff must refund any co-payments collected from participants for dates of service January 1, 2020 through end of public health emergency. Update billing system and front desk procedures to reflect zero co-payment for MO HealthNet claims. Note: Pharmacy shared dispensing fees should not be retroactively adjusted.
