Action Required
By May 4, 2026: Billing team must audit all current claim submissions to identify any instances where revenue codes 0500-0509, 0583, 0660-0669, 0906-0907, 0931-0932, 1000-1006, 2100-2109, or 3100-3109 are being billed with bill types 0120-012Z, 0130-013Z, or 0140-014Z. Update billing software validation rules and encoder settings to prevent these code-to-bill-type combinations. Communicate findings to providers and clinical staff regarding correct revenue code and bill type pairing. Remove any templates or encounter forms that may generate these invalid combinations. Test all changes in staging environment before May 4, 2026. Failure to correct these combinations will result in automatic claim denials.
