Summary
MO HealthNet (Missouri Medicaid) now covers up to two post-discharge skilled nursing home visits when mothers are discharged early from maternity stays (less than 48 hours for vaginal delivery or 96 hours for cesarean section). These visits must be physician-ordered, reported within 24 hours, and billed using the mother's Medicaid number.
