[Indiana] Quest BetterDoctor Provider Information Attestation
CareSource·IN·Provider Bulletin
Effective date

We identified it

Summary
CareSource is implementing a new provider directory attestation process through Quest BetterDoctor, effective July 1, 2026. Indiana Medicaid providers must verify and update their information every 90 days using an online portal with an access token provided via email or fax. This replaces manual attestation but does not eliminate the requirement to submit maintenance changes directly to CareSource.
Action Required
By June 30, 2026: Providers must be prepared to complete the Quest BetterDoctor attestation process. Billing/administrative staff should monitor for emails or faxes from Quest BetterDoctor containing access tokens. When received, providers must log into betterdoctor.com/validate, enter the 8-character alphanumeric access token, and verify/update all provider directory information in the portal. This attestation must be completed every 90 days thereafter. Larger practices can submit rosters directly to Quest Analytics. Note that this attestation process does not replace the requirement to submit any provider maintenance changes through the CareSource Provider Portal. Failure to complete attestation may result in outdated provider directory information affecting patient-provider matching. Questions should be directed to BetterDoctor at support@betterdoctor.com or CareSource Provider Services at 1-844-607-2831 (Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm ET / 7am-7pm CT).
