Summary
Missouri Medicaid is extending the COVID-19 waiver that allows Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) candidates to provide applied behavior analysis services without completing the RBT exam until November 11, 2023. This is the final extension and no further waivers will be considered.
Action Required
By November 11, 2023: Ensure all RBT technicians providing applied behavior analysis services complete their RBT certification exam. Claims for services by uncertified technicians will be denied after November 11, 2023.
