Summary
MO HealthNet (Missouri Medicaid) now requires all provider enrollment forms to have either original handwritten signatures or verifiable electronic signatures using approved software like DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or DropBox Sign with minimum two identification components. Signature stamps are no longer acceptable, and providers must retain unaltered original documents for 6 years.
Action Required
Immediately: Providers enrolling in or updating MO HealthNet must stop using signature stamps on enrollment forms. Use only handwritten signatures or approved electronic signature software (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, DropBox Sign) with two-factor authentication.
