Summary
Effective January 1, 2025, MO HealthNet requires providers to use the new unified Notification of Pregnancy (NOP) and Risk Screening Portal for all pregnant participants, replacing individual managed care portals. Billing codes G9919-TH and G9920-TH remain active for completing screenings with $50 reimbursement per screening (up to 2 prenatal, 1 postpartum per year).
Action Required
By January 1, 2025: Providers offering obstetric care, primary care, or emergency care must transition from individual managed care portals to the unified NOP and Risk Screening Portal for reporting pregnancies. Continue billing codes G9919-TH and G9920-TH at $50 each (maximum 2 prenatal and 1 postpartum screenings per patient per calendar year).
