Summary
MO HealthNet has launched a new self-service IVR feature allowing pharmacies and providers to check the status of drug prior authorization fax requests by calling 800-392-8030, selecting Option 3, then Option 2. This service requires the National Provider Identifier (NPI), Participant's Designated Client Number (DCN), and Fax Date to access PA status information.

Immediately: Staff should save the new phone number 800-392-8030 for checking drug PA fax status. Train staff to use Option 3 then Option 2 when calling to check status.
