Summary
Effective April 1, 2025, MO HealthNet will no longer cover LifeScan diabetic testing supplies and will only cover new preferred diabetic products. All claims for LifeScan products will be denied after April 1st with no override options available.
Action Required
By April 1, 2025: Billing team must stop processing claims for LifeScan diabetic testing supplies as MO HealthNet will deny all claims with no overrides available. Providers must assist patients in transitioning to new preferred diabetic supplies and update prescriptions accordingly.
