Action Required
Immediately: Dental billing team must update billing system to include new CDT codes D9222 and D9223. Verify coverage for periodic oral exams (D0120) for patients 21 and older. Update Silver Diamine Fluoride (D1354) billing to restrict to patients 20 and under, pregnant women, blind patients, and SNF residents. Remove old reimbursement rates from internal documentation and reference current Fee Schedule for rates.
