Summary
Effective October 1, 2024, UPMC Health Plan switched to using CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare) as their new vendor for the quarterly provider attestation process. All providers must now complete their quarterly directory information verification through the CAQH Provider Data Portal instead of UPMC's previous system.
Action Required
Immediately: Providers must register with CAQH Provider Data Portal if not already registered and complete quarterly attestations through CAQH system going forward. Check email quarterly for CAQH verification requests and respond promptly to maintain accurate provider directory information.
