Summary
UPMC for Kids CHIP coverage has expanded to three additional Pennsylvania counties (Montour, Northumberland, and Pike) effective July 1, 2025. All in-network providers serving CHIP members must have a valid PROMISe ID from Pennsylvania for each service location.
Action Required
By July 1, 2025: All providers serving CHIP members must obtain a valid PROMISe ID (MMIS provider ID) from Pennsylvania for each service location where CHIP enrollees are treated. Register at promise.dhs.pa.gov or check existing application status. Contact UPMC for Kids Provider Services at 1-800-650-8762 (option 2) for questions.
