Summary

CareSource Georgia Medicaid is reminding providers that all demographic and provider information must be kept current in the Georgia Medicaid Management Information System (GAMMIS). This includes office locations, phone numbers, provider names, specialties, patient acceptance status, and any practice changes. Providers are responsible for initiating these updates in GAMMIS, which then transmit to CareSource.

Action Required

Action needed
Immediate: Providers and front desk staff must audit all current provider information in GAMMIS (Georgia Medicaid Management Information System) and verify accuracy of: office address, phone number, provider names, specialties, patient acceptance status, language capabilities, and any location closures or additions. Any discrepancies must be updated directly in GAMMIS immediately. Billing team should confirm with providers that this audit is completed and flagged in practice records. Failure to maintain accurate information in GAMMIS may result in claim routing errors, member access issues, and potential payment delays. Contact CareSource Provider Services at 1-855-202-1058 (Mon-Fri, 7am-7pm ET) or GAProviderRelations@CareSource.com with questions.
