Summary
Medical Mutual is transitioning from their current provider portal to Availity platform. New provider registrations on the existing portal will not be possible after July 29, 2020, and the old portal will be completely eliminated in Q4 2020.
Action Required
By July 29, 2020: All providers must register with Availity at www.availity.com/medicalmutual if not already registered. Existing Availity users should add Medical Mutual as a payer in their account. Billing team must transition all portal activities (eligibility checks, claim status, remit viewing) to Availity before Q4 2020 when the old portal is eliminated.
