Magellan Rx is launching a new integrated portal called 'Element' for Medicare Advantage prior authorizations effective January 1, 2022. Providers with existing Magellan Rx portal accounts will receive email notifications and training materials about the new platform.

By Jan 1, 2022: Billing and administrative staff must watch for email notifications from Magellan Rx about the new Element portal and complete required training materials. Update workflow procedures to use the new integrated portal for all Medicare Advantage prior authorization requests instead of the old mrxgateway.com system.
