Medical Mutual is updating reimbursement rates for mid-level providers (nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, etc.) in their network fee schedule. The updated rates will be available December 1, 2021, and apply to services rendered starting March 1, 2022.
Action Required
By December 1, 2021: Billing team should access the updated Medical Mutual network fee schedule via the secure Provider Portal in Availity at MedMutual.com/Provider to review new reimbursement rates for mid-level providers. Update billing system with new rates effective March 1, 2022. Contact Medical Mutual Provider Contract Manager at 1-800-625-2583 with questions.
