Medical Mutual is switching their prior authorization vendor from eviCore to Cohere Health for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Chiropractic services effective November 1, 2024. All prior authorization requests for these services must be submitted through Cohere Health instead of eviCore after this date.
Action Required
Before November 1, 2024: Register with Cohere Health at www.coherehealth.com/register if not already registered. Stop submitting PT, OT, ST, and Chiropractic prior authorization requests through eviCore after November 1st. Submit all these requests through Cohere Health portal instead. Update billing team workflows and encounter forms to reflect new authorization process.
