We identified it
Jun 20, 2026
Summary
Healthfirst has reinstated the requirement for providers to enroll in the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) at the direction of New York State Department of Health. Providers who fail to enroll will be terminated from Healthfirst networks serving Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, or Partnership in Care members.
Action Required
Immediately: All providers in Healthfirst networks must verify their MMIS enrollment status and complete enrollment if not already done. Check if your practice has an active MMIS number or is listed on the eMedNY Medicaid Pending Provider Listing. Contact NYSDOH to initiate enrollment process if needed. Failure to enroll will result in termination from Healthfirst networks serving MMC, CHPlus, or PWP members.
