Summary
Healthfirst providers can now receive Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) through Availity Clearinghouse due to the Change Healthcare outage. Existing ERA-enrolled providers must validate connectivity with Availity, while new ERA enrollments remain suspended until Change Healthcare is restored.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing teams currently enrolled for Healthfirst ERA must contact Availity Client Services at 1-800-282-4548 to validate connectivity has been established. Inform your clearinghouse that Healthfirst now uses Availity for ERA receipt. If using alternative clearinghouse, establish connection by Wednesday before next payment cycle to avoid missing ERAs. Providers not enrolled for ERA continue receiving paper RAs/EOPs with no process changes.
