Summary
Oklahoma Health Care Authority has removed maximum panel size limits for primary care physicians in the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program, effective November 4, 2022. PCPs can now determine their own maximum panel capacity while the minimum remains at 50 patients.
Action Required
No immediate billing action required. This is an administrative change that allows PCMH primary care providers to update their panel size capacity in the provider portal as needed. Billing team should be aware that panel size restrictions no longer limit patient enrollment for PCMH PCPs.
