Oklahoma hospitals must now distribute opioid antagonists (naloxone) to patients presenting with opioid-related issues in emergency departments and upon discharge. SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid) will provide separate reimbursement using specific HCPCS codes for these take-home naloxone supplies.
