Summary
Kentucky Medicaid is rescinding previous incorrect guidance and clarifying that Participant-Directed Services (PDS) employees CAN provide waiver services to participants when traveling outside of Kentucky for family visits, events, or activities. No changes to plans of care are needed.
Action Required
Immediately: Notify all PDS employees and waiver participants who received the incorrect guidance that out-of-state services are permitted.
