Summary
Kentucky Medicaid has expanded access to Participant Directed Services (PDS) under the Home and Community Based (HCB) waiver due to growing demand. Providers can now refer participants having difficulty accessing services through a new form process, and participants may enroll with providers outside their region.
Action Required
For providers serving Kentucky Medicaid HCB waiver participants: Use the attached form to report participants having difficulty accessing PDS services by emailing 1915cWaiverHelpDesk@ky.gov. Inform eligible participants they can now enroll with ADDs outside their region and that CMHCs can provide Participant Directed Coordination through November 11, 2023.
