Summary
Kentucky Medicaid is implementing Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home health care services starting January 1, 2024. Providers must use the Therap EVV system or approved third-party system to record visit data for specified home health, waiver, and private duty nursing services.
Action Required
By December 28, 2023: Complete Kentucky EVV Implementation Request Form at therapservices.net. By January 1, 2024: All home health, Model II Waiver, and Private Duty Nursing providers must implement EVV system (Therap or approved third-party) for recording visit data. Contact KYSUPPORT@therapservices.net for technical setup. Failure to implement will affect claim processing for covered services.
