Colorado's Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) is transitioning from State Managed Care Network to managed care organizations effective July 1, 2021. Providers must contract with CHP+ MCOs to receive reimbursement for services after June 30, 2021, and flu vaccine code 90688 age range expanded to 6+ months.

By June 30, 2021: All providers serving CHP+ members must establish active contracts with CHP+ MCOs (Colorado Access, Denver Health, Friday Health Plans, Kaiser Permanente, or Rocky Mountain Health Plans) to receive reimbursement after July 1, 2021. Verify current Colorado interChange enrollment is active. Update billing systems to accept flu vaccine code 90688 for patients 6+ months (previously 3+ years). Claims for CHP+ services without MCO contracts will be denied after June 30, 2021.
