Colorado has extended the moratorium on new NEMT provider enrollments until April 1, 2025, and extended the revalidation deadline to November 30, 2024. All NEMT providers must now complete credentialing with Transdev Health Solutions and claims over 52 miles will be suspended for review requiring specific documentation.

By November 30, 2024: NEMT providers must complete revalidation with Health First Colorado and credentialing with Transdev Health Solutions, including driver/vehicle credentials and in-person vehicle inspections. For claims over 52 miles (codes A0425, S0209), attach completed Verification Form for Transportation Services More Than 25 Miles signed by treating provider when submitting claims. Claims without proper documentation will be denied.
